Flu vaccination clinic was extremely well organised.
Excellent service from both Oakleaf & Larwood.
Courteous reception staff at both centres.
Dr Asher was superb very thorough. Excellent listening skills, empathetic and very professional.
General care is very very consistent, the staff despite their many pressures always take consideration of patient needs. The phone us system seems to be very effective.
Thank you.

The practice is the best I have ever used, in every aspect. However it used to be better. I feel that the walk-in service is a great loss - if someone needs to see a doctor urgently they should be able to do so without having to explain the symptoms to someone whose qualifications they don't know, then have to wait for a ring back when there may be family members, children or colleagues within hearing. I am sure that the increase in 999 calls and attendance at A&E is partly a result of the spread of this system nationally.
I approve of the fact that all the GPs' qualifications are set out on the website. It is interesting that while patients are increasingly being referred to nurses for diagnosis and treatment, there is no indication of what level of training the nurses have received, where and when. It might (or might not) be reassuring to have this information.
Ask my GP works really well for me, I use it online and it has always proved easy and quick.
My only critism of the surgery and it is a minor one, the answerphone message when ringing the surgery is too long - have to listen for what seems like eternity before get to the options!
